New hikes

In the last couple of weeks our family has been on two more hikes. The first one that we went on after we got back from St. George was in Ogden so that we could see Jeff's parents for a little bit. We went on the Rainbow loop hike that also hooks up with the Bonneville shoreline trail. We went on the weekend when they also had a marathon going on so we had a little trouble getting there, but it didn't postpone us for too long.

We took Lilly with us so that she could get a little bit of exercise. It was a pretty good hike. It is also a bike trail so we had to be on the lookout for bikes and runners, but it was pretty good. It takes us through a little wooded area and that part was my favorite because it had shade and wasn't too steep.

The best surprise when when we turned a corner and we looked up at the mountain that was across the road and we were able to see a big waterfall. Jeff said that he has never seen t there before so we snapped a lot of pictures on our phones, because I forgot the camera and we then headed back down the hill. Here are the pictures:

Isaac's graduation

This year I put Isaac in preschool at the kids park, a place in Stansbury Park. At first it was kind of frustrating to try and figure out when I was going to feed Kaden and take Isaac to school, but it turned out to be all right when I finally got Kaden on a schedule.

He had a lot of fun going to school and loved his teachers. One of the workers told me one day that she has only ever seen Isaac happy. I was amazed and he is sometimes a little whinny when he is at home. It just made me stop to think of just how happy a person Isaac is. He is a wonderful boy and tries his hardest to do what we ask. I need to remember this when he gets in one of his whinny times.

Here are some of the pictures that I took from that night. (you will be able to note that Isaac participated in everything and I didn't have to talk him into it. I was so proud)
